José Luis Fernández-Picazo has a degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Instituto de Empresa.
Founding partner at Oban Legal, he previously worked in other prestigious firms in Spain, such as KPMG Abogados, where he was appointed to direct the Large Estates and Family Business practice in 2011. He has also worked in Landwell-PricewaterhouseCoopers, Danbury Abogados and F.J. Martín Abogados.
He has an extensive background in tax consulting for both individuals and companies. His area of expertise focuses on advising large estates, family businesses and family offices, including succession planning, business restructuring processes, family protocol and assistance in tax verification and inspection proceedings. He also has broad experience in advising financial institutions in both Spain and abroad.
Finally, José Luis has been a professor of Financial and Tax Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid since February 2006, a regular speaker at conferences and seminars and the author and co-author of multiple works and press articles on tax matters.
José Luis Monedero Arandilla has a degree in Law from the Universidad de Salamanca and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Law from the Real Centro Universitario María Cristina- El Escorial.
Founding partner at Oban Legal, he began his career at F.J. Martín Abogados, where he was director of the Madrid office. He later worked as Senior Manager in the Large Estates and Family Business area of KPMG Abogados, later joining Danbury Abogados, where he was appointed partner in 2018.
José Luis has developed his career in the field of tax consulting for individuals, companies and public entities. He specializes in advising large estates, family businesses and family offices, participating in several local and international estate planning processes and business restructurings. He also has experience in advising consolidated groups and in technical defense in verification and inspection proceedings as well as contentious-administrative proceedings.
Additionally, José Luis has been a professor of Financial and Tax Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid since January 2012. José Luis is also a regular speaker at conferences and seminars and the author and co-author of multiple works and press articles on tax matters (Aranzadi, Tirant Lo Blanch, Editorial Sepin, etc.).
Eduardo Lite Mateo has a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Tax Advice from the Centro de Estudios Financieros.
Partner at Oban Legal, he began his career at KPMG Abogados where he was manager in the Large Estates and Family Business area. Then joined Danbury Abogados and later Oban Legal, where was appointed partner in 2020.
Eduardo has developed his career in the field of tax consulting for individuals and companies, being specialized in advising Spanish and foreign financial entities, large estates and family businesses. Moreover, Eduardo has wide experience advising companies on the area of international mobility of their employees and executives.
